Privacy policy
Short, because there is not much to say. This page explains what this website collects, what the quote builder does with what you type and how to reach us about any of it.
Sites and Servers is run by Joel Bauer in Adelaide, South Australia. You can reach us on 0400 025 978 or at hello@sitesandservers.com.au. This policy was last updated on 28 September 2026.
The quote builder
The quote builder on the websites page asks for your name, phone number and, if you want to give them, your business name, email address and notes. Everything you type stays in your own browser. Nothing is sent to us or stored on any server when you type it.
The summary only leaves your browser when you choose one of three things. The Copy summary button puts the text on your clipboard for you to paste wherever you like. The Email it button opens your own mail app with the summary filled in; it is sent only when you press send in that app. The Ring button dials our number. If you close the page without doing any of those, the details are gone.
When you do email us, we keep your message in our mailbox so we can reply and, if you go ahead, to do the work. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not pass your details to anyone else.
What the website itself collects
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or analytics scripts at the time of writing. If we add Google Analytics or Google Ads conversion measurement later, this page will say so, along with what they collect and how to opt out.
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages (Cloudflare) records standard connection details such as your IP address and the pages requested, which are used to run and protect the site. Fonts and every other file are served from this site, so no other company sees your visit.
If you become a client
To build or host a website we need contact details, a domain name and sometimes logins to your existing hosting or accounts. We use them for that work only, keep them as long as we are looking after your site and hand them back or delete them when you leave. Passwords are stored in a password manager, never in email.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing hello@sitesandservers.com.au. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
