Website care plans: the routine work that keeps a site working
A website is software. It needs updating, backing up and the occasional small edit when your hours or prices change. Care is built into the Business and Growth hosting plans. For a site hosted somewhere else, a standalone care plan is $300 a year inc GST.

What happens on a Business or Growth hosting plan across twelve months. Daily backups run every day and the SSL certificate renews itself automatically every few months; neither is shown.

What care covers
Software updates
WordPress core, theme and plugins updated monthly, tested first, with a backup before each change.
Backup checks
Backups that nobody tests are hopes, not backups. We confirm they exist and that a restore works.
Health check
Quarterly: forms still send, SSL still valid, no broken links, no error pages, Search Console clear of warnings.
Small edits
New opening hours, a price change, a staff photo, a paragraph. On Growth, 30 minutes a month is included. On other plans it is billed at $100 an hour inc GST.
Fixing what breaks
A plugin conflict, a form that stopped sending, a page that lost its layout. Ring and it gets looked at the same business day on Business and Growth.
Care questions
How do I request an edit?
Email or text what you want changed. Small edits are usually done within a business day or two. Anything larger is quoted first.
Do unused edit minutes roll over?
No. The 30 minutes on Growth are a monthly allowance. Larger jobs are quoted at the hourly rate.
Can I cancel a care plan?
The standalone care plan runs for the year it is paid for. Care inside a hosting plan ends when the hosting does. Either way you leave with a full copy of your site.
Is care a redesign or SEO?
No. It is the steady upkeep that stops you finding out from a customer that the site is down. Redesigns, new pages and SEO are quoted separately.
