Sites and Servers

Web design in Darwin, built to work a long way from anywhere.

The Territory runs on distance. Your site should answer questions before anyone has to ring, take enquiries while you're up the track and load on a patchy connection. Five pages from $1,490 inc GST, a listed price per page and Australian hosting with the backups in writing.

Darwin and the Northern Territory

We build the same way for a Palmerston workshop and an Alice Springs tour operator. On Growth, repeated area pages are $120 inc GST each.

  • Darwin city, Parap and Fannie Bay
  • Casuarina, Nightcliff and the northern suburbs
  • Palmerston and the rural area
  • Humpty Doo, Howard Springs and Litchfield
  • Katherine
  • Alice Springs
  • Nhulunbuy, Tennant Creek and remote communities

Central Standard time, all year round

The Territory doesn't change its clocks. For half the year Darwin is an hour and a half behind Sydney. For the other half, half an hour. We write every date in Darwin time. The site runs on Google Cloud in Sydney with daily backups kept 30 days. See the hosting plans.

We work over email, your account and a private preview address, so distance changes nothing. Review the preview when the season lets you, not when we say so.

What a Territory business needs from a website

It's the process we run everywhere. What the Territory changes is the connection your page loads on and the season it has to keep up with.

Light enough for the Stuart Highway

Small pages. Compressed images, no auto-playing video, nothing that stalls on a slow connection. If it loads in Darwin, it loads in Katherine.

Wet and dry

Hours, tours and availability change with the season. They live on a page you can update yourself, so you're never advertising a dry-season tour in February.

Reachable while you're remote

The enquiry form goes to your inbox and the common questions are answered on the page. The site keeps working while you're out of range for a week.

Territory customers are used to businesses being hard to reach. Out bush, on the water, closed for the wet. A site that answers the obvious questions and takes a booking or enquiry without a phone call gives you an edge before you've said a word.

How a build works from Darwin

We work remotely, so there's no Darwin office to visit. You won't miss it.

You pay online. Build your price, pay it by card and your account opens straight away.

Within 7 days. Your homepage demo turns up on a private address, tracked in the account.

You sign it off. It goes live and you get a recorded video on making your own changes.

A concept we designed for a made-up business. Yours gets the same care, built from your own photos and words.

Web design in the Northern Territory: questions answered

Will the site load on a slow connection?

It's built for one. Compressed images sized for phones, nothing that auto-plays and plain pages rather than a heavy app.

How much is a website in Darwin?

The same listed prices as the rest of Australia: $1,490, $2,490 and $3,290 inc GST for Starter, Shop and Growth. The configurator prices extra pages and add-ons.

Can you work around the wet season?

Yes. Your timeline goes in writing and starts when you're ready. Most of the build doesn't need you in real time anyway: pages arrive on a private address and you reply when you can.

Do I need a web designer based in Darwin?

No. Where we sit makes no difference to your site. What matters is that the pages name your suburbs and answer your customers' questions.

What time zone do you work in?

Yours. Dates in your account and our emails are in Australian Central Standard time, all year.
