Websites for tradies that turn a search into a quote request.
Your customers find you on their phone, usually with water on the floor or a builder tapping his watch. So the site has to say what you do, where you go and how to reach you in one screen, then grab what you need to quote. Most trades fit Starter: five pages, $1,490 inc GST, paid once.
Six things a good tradie site gets right
A page for every service
Hot water. Blocked drains. Gas fitting. Each gets its own page covering what the job involves and what pushes the price up, so it can be found on its own. Extra pages are $175 each on Starter.
A page for every area you cover
Suburb and town pages that say where you go and how quickly you can usually get there. Written for that area, not the same page with the name swapped.
A quote form that saves a call
Suburb, type of job, how urgent and the best time to ring. The stuff you'd ask anyway, sitting in your inbox before you call back.
Your licence number on show
In the footer of every page and on the about page. That's where homeowners and builders look before they ring.
Tap to call, right where the thumb is
Your number as a button at the top of every page on a phone, with the hours you actually pick up. After hours, there's an email option.
Your own work in the photos
Before-and-after shots straight off your phone, sorted into a gallery. Not a stock model in a spotless hi-vis shirt.
Which package suits a trade
On Growth, suburb pages that share a layout are $120 each past the included ten. An extra form, like a builder's tender request or a job sheet, is $190. Online booking for jobs you schedule yourself is $490. All inc GST, all in the configurator.
Found on the map as well
Most trade searches show a map with three businesses sitting above the normal results. That comes from your Google business listing, which you manage with Google. The site backs it up by naming the same services and areas the same way, each with its own page. Reviews? Those are yours to ask for. The site links to them rather than copying them.
After it goes live
The site runs on our Sydney hosting with a backup every day. Added a service, changed your area or picked up a new licence class? Email us. Small edits are $100 an hour inc GST. A growth plan adds a monthly SEO report and a blog post each month about the jobs you do.
Tradie website questions
My work comes from word of mouth. Do I need a website?
Word of mouth is exactly when people look you up. A mate passes on your name and the customer searches it. Your site's where they check you do their kind of job in their suburb. Get that right and a recommendation turns into a quote request.
I'm already on Facebook and a jobs board. Isn't that enough?
They bring work in, sure. But someone else owns the listing and makes the rules. Customers have to scroll to work out what you do. Your site's the one place that's actually yours: every service, every area, your licence and a form that asks the right questions.
Will it show my licence?
Yes. Footer of every page, plus the about page.
How much does a website for a tradie cost?
Starter is $1,490 inc GST for five pages: home, services, about, contact and one more (often a gallery). Growth, with a page per service and suburb, is $3,290 inc GST for ten. Extra pages have a fixed price. The configurator shows the total before you commit to anything.
How soon can I see it?
Your homepage demo lands on a private address within 7 days of paying. The other pages follow as we build them. It goes live when you're happy.
Will suburb pages get me more work in those areas?
They give Google a page to show for searches in that area, which one services page can't do. They work best when each says something true about the place, like how often you're out there or the jobs that come up in older homes nearby. Nobody can honestly promise a ranking. So we don't.
Do I have to write the words?
No. Copywriting's $190 a page inc GST. We write each page from a short questionnaire about how you work, then send it over for you to check. Rather write it yourself? We'll tidy up what you send.
Can the quote form feed my job management software?
If your software has its own online enquiry or booking form, we can put that on the site instead of ours, so jobs drop straight in. If not, the form emails you and you copy the job across.
Can I update the site myself?
Yep. New gallery photos or changed hours take a minute from your login. The walkthrough video at handover shows you how. Bigger changes are a small edit by email.
Price it the way you'd price a job.
Pick a package, add the service and suburb pages you need and get the exact figure without talking to anyone.
